It’s only a little over a month out, and other than Daender, is any other Oppo going? It’s January 26&27 if you didn’t know. If you haven’t made reservations for a place to stay, I recommend the Drifwood Beach Resort in Ormand Beach. It’s small, but very clean, and at least our room(Daender and I) was updated. Super cheap too, and right on the beach.

Other recommendations would be to come the day before, bring a small backpack with maybe two compartments(entry becomes much easier if they don’t have to search many pockets), don’t close the doors on the display Corvettes(cough, Daender, cough), don’t try to bring in an umbrella, get a parking pass if they are still available(probably not), prepare for any weather, just go get your car when you want to find a restaurant, etc.

Ugh, I want to go but no plans right now so it likely won’t happen. Not at a point where I can make plans (or be less vague it on the internet). It’s on the list for 2020 for sure.

It’s definitely worth the travels, especially if you are coming from a sunny climate. At least last year was warm.

Well, if you are looking for a place to stay, there is my recommendation. 2 queen beds, ocean front view, $104 a night(granted I got a return guest discount).

Also, would love to meet up! I’m going to try to maybe get a group chat going of people who are attending? Facebook is easiest, but do you have a suggestion?

Bullshit, we’re doing the Corvette again and this time I’m the one getting locked inside! Also, I’m prepared this time with a poncho. “ The Tube” for poster-containment may or may not come along, haven’t decided just yet.

Thanks for the suggestion! We are actually flying in on Saturday morning and out on Sunday night, so no staying at a hotel anywhere. Might just sleep in the rentals or in a tent on the infield.

I would love to meet up too! I’ve never meet a fellow Oppo. FB is probably the most convenient for most people, however I never use it myself (I’ll join a group on it if thats how we want to proceed ) .
